About Us
Therapeutic Family Counseling Center employs the use of holistic therapy as a form of healing that considers the whole person -- body, mind, spirit, emotions and environment -- in the quest for optimal health and wellness. The process examines life issues in dissimilar social settings to ascertain possible causative factors for the imbalance experienced that may be affecting physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual and environmental well-being.
Dr. Felix McEwan is a Pastoral Community Counselor and a Graduate of Argosy University. He acquired his Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE), Internship, and Residency Training at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami Florida; and is certification as a bereavement specialist, co-coordinator, and trainer from Resolve Through Sharing Bereavement Education. He is qualified to provide compassionate psychotherapy to persons in the community. Dr. Felix McEwan offers bereavement care in perinatal, neonatal, paediatrics and adult deaths and spiritual care in medical facilities, for their staff, clergy, counsellors, and social workers. He has extensive experiencing in a verity of counseling situation spiritual, occupational, children and families, diverse types of violence, pre and post marriage, individual, military, law enforcement, among other counseling needs.
